Ashfield Leisure Centre
Ashfield students are able to benefit from the use of these facilities within a range of activities including PE lessons, extra-curricular sports clubs, inter-school and inter-house competitions. We are also keen to ensure that the wider community is able to access these outstanding facilities. As such our partner schools and various community groups make regular use of the 3G MUGA, Outdoor Courts and Athletics Facilities.

Outdoor Courts
Our facility has markings for basketball, netball and tennis courts. It is popular for those clubs/organisations looking to hire a basketball / netball / tennis court within the Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham area. Please note the facility is not floodlit so only available during daylight hours.
3G Pitch
Our 3G pitch is the perfect surface for clubs and organisations throughout Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The 3G can be hired for ether 9-a-side or 5-a-side games making it the perfect venue for football in Nottingham. The pitch is floodlit and surrounded by metal mesh fencing, creating more opportunity for teams to train on dark winter nights. Changing and shower facilities are also included as part of the hire. The 3G is a multipurpose area and can be used for sports such as football, hockey and cricket. Athletics Track
Our rubberized artificial running track consists of 8 lanes and can be used in all weather conditions. The track is perfect for track and field athletics and is in very high demand with clubs & organisations throughout Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The area is floodlit so the track can be used in the late afternoons. There are also sand pits and hurdle equipment available for use. Changing/shower facilities are also available as part of the hire.
Football Pitches
Our grass pitches are available to hire throughout the year. The pitches available are 11-a-side and a mini pitch. Please note the facility is not floodlit so only available during daylight hours. Its flexible nature makes it the perfect venue to hire for local clubs looking for a football pitch in the local Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham area. Changing and shower facilities are available as part of the hire. Please note, that we do not provide nets or flags.
Rugby Pitch
